The platform control function enable switch is stuck closed or was held down at start-up. Drive and steer are locked out. [src]

Likely causes

The manual lists 3 causes:

  1. Function enable switch stuck closed.
  2. Function enable switch held down at start-up.
  3. Platform control (PCON) ECM.

How to fix it

Work through these in order, as the manual's troubleshooting chart does:

  1. Do not hold the function enable switch while the machine starts up.

Call a technician: If the code stays when the switch is not pressed at start-up. Genie says troubleshooting and repair must be done by a trained, qualified person.
