Likely causes

The manual lists 2 causes:

  1. An updated platform control box was installed on a machine whose ground control was not updated.
  2. Ground control (GCON) ECM.

How to fix it

Work through these in order, as the manual's troubleshooting chart does:

  1. Update the ground control software, or put the original platform control box back on the machine.

Call a technician: Right away. Genie says to tag a damaged or malfunctioning machine and take it out of service, and to repair it before use.
