In this type, the operator should be actively involved because reprogramming of the stacker is necessary as the weight changes.\u00a0The internal coil grab involves a jib crane and a hoist that supports a mechanical ID grab. This is the least sophisticated type since it is operated using a hand lever.<\/p>\n<p>A fork type stacker consists of a pair of steel forks that are placed on a traveling carriage within the frame of a stacker roller conveyor. The thickness and length of the forks will change\u00a0depending on the weight and diameter of the coil being processed. Lastly, the external coil grab is a model that possesses a conveyor section that accepts coils from the strapping table and then positioning them for pick up. This special feature of this specific coil stacker enables the piling of coils within the maximum width capacity and increases the efficiency of the work and by at least 15 seconds. They have outer and inner diameter forks that have the use of securing and transporting the coil. An example would be a truck stacker, designed for moving coil sheets from the production line and directly on the truck.<\/p>\n<p>Coil stackers are individually designed to be used in various situations such as multiple stacking locations, coil sortation tables, or linear coil shuttles.<\/p>\n<p>In a truck stacker, the scrap is removed easily from the production line without any interruption. The stacker has a shutting head that builds up two packs per truck.
